Description

The coin was a standard circulating coin under the Pilipino Series. It featured Marcelo H. del Pilar, who is often referred to as the “Father of Philippine Journalism" as he founded the Diariong Tagalog. The coin is common due to its high mintage. It was later demonetized on January 2, 1998, as per BSP Circular No. 81, Series of 1995.
