Description
The coin is a standard circulating coin under the BSP Series. The obverse features the coin's denomination, which was the first time a 25 sentimo coin did not feature any person or other design elements. The reverse features the BSP seal, along with the year of its establishment as a legal institution. In 2003, the coin changed its composition from brass to brass-plated steel to save on production costs. The coin is common and remains in circulation.
