Description
The coin was a standard circulating coin under the Ang Bagong Lipunan Series. It features Lapulapu, with him being one of the first Filipinos who resisted Spanish rule. The coin is common due to its high mintage. It was later demonetized on January 2, 1998, as per BSP Circular No. 81, Series of 1995.
